SICE Journal of Control, Measurement and System Integration
Special Article Collection for
The 40th SICE Sensing Forum
SICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration (SICE JCMSI) will publish a Special Collection to disseminate the original and high-quality studies presented in The 39th and 40th Sensing Forums on Measurement (SF39 and SF40), in revised/extended forms to the world as a special event of SF40. The Editor encourages the authors of all the categories of the papers presented in SF39 and SF40 to submit their extended version to the journal, in order to form an original collection of SF40 papers in this journal. The submitted papers will undergo a regular review process.
Paper submission deadline: December 31, 2023
Target publication date of the issue: May 2024
The publication date may vary depending on the status of the review process.
The full-length manuscript should be sent along with a filled cover letter by selecting SICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration on the submission portal (Click on 'Submit an article’) accessible via the Journal website (https://www.tandfonline.com/tmsi). Collection on The 40th SICE Sensing Forum should be chosen during the submission. The designated cover letter can be downloaded here. Papers with insufficient cover letters will be returned for possible resubmission after correction.
All submissions to the Special Collection based on extensions of materials presented in SF39 and SF40 must comply with the following conditions:
The paper titles must be different from the ones in the forum proceedings;
The authors must cite their paper that appears in the forum proceedings;
In the journal paper, the authors must describe in detail how the submitted journal paper differs from the cited forum paper. In particular, the additional original contribution in the journal paper has to be pointed out explicitly in the first section.
In order to qualify for a discounted Article Publishing Charge, a special code must be applied to the submission form, prior to submission.
Failing to comply with these three conditions will lead to an immediate rejection.
