SICE Journal of Control, Measurement and System Integration SICE JCMSI
Virtual Issue on SICE ISCS 2024

In order to disseminate the original and high-quality studies presented at the SICE International Symposium on Control Systems 2024 (ISCS 2024) to the world, the SICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration (JCMSI) will publish a virtual issue. This is the second virtual issue on ISCS. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their papers in revised/extended forms. This virtual issue focuses on any areas covered in the symposium. The submitted papers will undergo an expedited review process.

Important Dates

  • Paper submission deadline: April 30, 2024

  • Target publication date: December 2024

A full-length manuscript should be sent along with a filled cover letter by selecting `SICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration' on the submission portal (Click on `Submit an article') accessible via the journal website. Please mention `Virtual issue on SICE ISCS 2024' as `Special Issue name' on the website when submitting your paper to this issue. The designated form of a cover letter can be downloaded here. Papers with insufficient cover letters will be returned for possible resubmission after correction. Accepted papers will be published in a normal form in the yearly volume of JCMSI, which can also be gathered and highlighted on the journal website as a virtual issue, within the volume, featuring ISCS 2024. The publishing charge for a virtual issue paper is the same as that for a normal paper.

Important Information

All submissions to the virtual issue based on extensions of materials presented in Regular Papers of the symposium must comply with the following conditions:

  1. The paper title must be different from the one in the symposium proceedings;

  2. The authors must cite their paper that appears in the symposium proceedings;

  3. In the journal paper, the authors must describe in detail how the submitted journal paper differs from the cited symposium paper. In particular, the additional original contribution in the journal paper has to be pointed out explicitly in the first section.

Failing to comply with these three conditions will lead to an immediate rejection unless the original symposium paper is a Position Paper.
